Project Status

With the completion of the final Environmental Assessment and the final Design Concept Report, the project is moving forward with final design and construction of the interim Northern Parkway improvements from Sarival Avenue to Dysart Road. Construction of this first phase of the project is scheduled to begin in 2012 and be complete in 2013. Through an intergovernmental agreement between the project partners – Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT), City of Glendale, City of Peoria, and City of El Mirage; MCDOT has been designated the lead agency for the Northern Parkway final design and construction.
